Wedding lighting for the Big Island.
A hand-built LED sculpture glowing over your reception.
One piece, placed beside the bar, the lounge, or the edge of the dance floor. We light weddings across the Big Island. From Kailua-Kona and the Kohala Coast resorts to Waimea, Waikoloa, and beachfront and backyard venues island-wide.
The Mushroom
Freestanding on an 8 × 8 ft lounge base, or a 6 × 8 turf base: a nine-foot canopy of color beside the dance floor or over the lounge. No rigging, runs off a standard outlet or our portable battery.
See the Mushroom
The Jellyfish
Suspended from its bamboo tripod, a tree, or a beam: a luminous bell with frilled oral arms and six to seven feet of trailing tentacles drifting overhead.

Both are one of a kind and both light the same way. The difference is where they sit and how guests use them.
Not sure? Booking both at one site is the most popular combination: the Mushroom where people settle in, the Jellyfish over the party. Tell us about the space and we’ll say which works.
Plenty of our couples don’t live on the island. You can book us without ever seeing the venue in person.
- We know the island. We work across the Kohala Coast, Kona, Waimea and private estates, and we’ll talk power, access and placement straight with your venue or coordinator.
- Everything happens online. Quote by email, agreement signed online, retainer paid remotely. A video call if you want one.
- Your coordinator can run it. Once your colors and timing are set, we work with them directly, so the week of your wedding is one less thing.
- Book early. Destination dates usually lock in a year out. There’s one Mushroom and one Jellyfish, so ask before you finalize your vendor list.

Packages
Three common starting points. Every quote is built around your venue and guest count, so treat these as a place to begin.
The Mushroom or the Jellyfish, lit in your colors. Delivered, set up before guests arrive, and gone at the end of the night.
Ask about this ReceptionA sculpture, uplighting across palms, tents or walls, and a sound system for the ceremony, toasts and dinner.
Ask about this Whole nightSculptures, lighting, sound and a DJ, run by one crew from first look to last dance. Add live visuals if you want them.

Five things to check with your venue. We walk through each one with you before the date is locked.
- 01Power
A standard 120V outlet within reach of the setup spot. Off-grid beach or ranch? Add our portable battery and we bring the power.
- 02Space
Mushroom: a level 8 × 8 ft spot, or 6 × 8 ft with the turf base. Jellyfish: a clear ~20 ft circle for the tripod, or a sturdy tree or beam to hang from.
- 03Crew access
A clear path from where we park to the setup spot. We arrive well before your guests to set up, test, and dial in your colors.
- 04Wind & rain
Both pieces are rain-resistant. They handle a real downpour, though they aren’t sealed like outdoor fixtures. We watch the forecast with you, and lower the Jellyfish if wind reaches about 23 mph (20 knots).
- 05Venue sign-off
Confirm your venue allows outside lighting vendors. Any venue permits or fees are arranged on your side. We’re happy to talk with your coordinator.
