Light Lab Hawaiʻi
Bride and groom embracing beneath a glowing LED jellyfish sculpture at their Kona Salt Farm wedding reception on the Big Island

Wedding lighting for the Big Island.

A hand-built LED sculpture glowing over your reception.

How it works

One piece, placed where your night gathers — beside the bar or at the edge of the dance floor. We light weddings across the Big Island — from Kailua-Kona and the Kohala Coast resorts to Waimea, Waikoloa, and beachfront and backyard venues island-wide.

Dinner & toasts A soft amber wash — warm, calm, candlelight-adjacent.
First dance Your wedding palette, glowing over everyone gathered beneath.
After dark Slow drifts of color as the night builds — the spot guests keep coming back to.

The Mushroom

Freestanding on its own 8 × 8 ft base — a nine-foot canopy of color beside the dance floor or over the lounge. No rigging, runs off a standard outlet.

The Jellyfish

Suspended from its bamboo tripod, a tree, or a beam — a luminous bell with frilled oral arms and eight feet of trailing tentacles drifting overhead.

Good to know
Can the colors match our wedding palette?
Yes — color and animation are fully programmable. Most couples ask for a soft amber glow through dinner and toasts, then their wedding colors when the music starts.
Where can the pieces be set up?
The Mushroom is freestanding — any level spot on a lawn, deck, or floor. The Jellyfish hangs from our bamboo tripod (plan on a clear circle of roughly 20 ft), or from a strong tree limb or beam if your venue has one. We confirm placement against your venue before the day.
How far in advance should we book?
Dates are first-come, and we're booking 2026 now. Send your date and venue and we'll confirm availability within 48 hours — no obligation.
